IN OUR PROGRAM
The Nurturing Creative Minds program uses a framework that captures each child's natural curiosity and interests while promoting social, emotional, language, reading, math, social studies, science, art and imaginative play skills. Teachers use a thematic approach based upon the interests of the children that they gain through close observation and engagement.
While learning centers and whole class activities teach children how to function in structured and unstructured groups, learning is individual and personal.

We are able to meet each child's unique needs and learning styles by joining the children in play and having one on one conversation with them.
Developing emergent literacy skills are essential. We have created a language/print rich environment to give children opportunities to identify words, to build vocabulary and to practice reading and writing. Learning takes place informally during teacher directed small and large group activities.
Each child's progress is communicated with parents through our Brightwheel app. Parents can track meals, learning activities, supplies and communicate with their child's teacher daily. Individual work portfolios are readily available to parents upon request. Formal conferences are held semi-annually to share each child's progress in a more structured way and to develop future goals.

Nurturing Creative Minds Child Care, provides before and after school enrichment for children kindergarten to sixth grade. Holidays, emergency closings and summer camp is also available.

Our enrichment program gives children an opportunity to express themselves in new and creative ways while fostering self-confidence and meeting their social and recreational needs through education.
